AFAWA - Women Entrepreneurship Enablers Program

The rate of entrepreneurship on the African continent is the highest in the world, and it is primarily driven by female entrepreneurs. Women in Africa are twice as likely to establish a business as women anywhere else in the globe, but so yet, they haven't made much of an impact on economic progress. To strengthen the ability of women-owned SMEs to access financing and grow their enterprises, AFAWA collaborates with women entrepreneurship enablers to achieve its goals. Women business enablers, such as women's business groups, incubators, accelerators, official women cooperatives, qualified civil society organizations, etc., play a crucial role in fostering the growth of women-owned businesses.
