Growth4Her Accelerator Program For Female Entrepreneurs in Nigeria and Cameroon


About Growth4Her

Growth4Her is a program open to female led businesses in West and Central Africa. Eligible persons from the following countries; Cameroon and Nigeria will be invited to participate in a 6 months Investor Readiness Accelerator Program.

Application is currently ongoing, each cohort is open to 25 women, shortlisted candidates will be invited for the next cohort after October. Read more to know the requirements to be eligible for this program.

The program fosters an ecosystem that supports WSMEs by preparing women for investment readiness skills and connects them directly to funders.

Benefits of participation

The Growth4Her program will provide beneficiaries with the following:
  • Access to Funding – Growth4Her prepares and links women-led businesses to investors
  • Access to Market— Get access to market, trade and network across African countries
  • Media Exposure— Gain Media Exposure
  • Mentorship— Get access to skilled and experienced mentors

Eligibility Criteria

  • Between 5 and 300 employees
  • Sales between US$35,000 and US$15 million
  • Assets between US$100,000 and US$15 million
  • ≥ 51% owned by a woman or, ≥ 20% owned by a woman and have ≥ one woman as CEO/COO (President/Vice President); and have ≥ 30% of the board of directors composed of women, where a board exists.
  • Loan size between US$5,000 and US$1 million (Loans must not be from traditional financial institutions, loans from other sources such as associations, cooperatives e.g. “tontine/njangi” “esusu”, family loans may be considered)
  • Can dedicate 1 week to an intense virtual/ physical Bootcamp
  • Can dedicate 3 hours for mentorship engagement for a period of 8 weeks
  • Must be a C-Level executive in the organization
